About this piece
| I love finding new ways of looking at the world. This series features unusual materials
that most people would never regard as fine jewelry, revealed and elevated by their
treatment here. A prime example is river-tumbled anthracite coal, into which is inlaid
sterling silver and a tube-set white diamond. Other items feature sea glass or river
pebbles, with inlaid gemstones.
